The depth of the drawers is also important and drawers should glide smoothly and stop securely. Remember, a well-known brand name does not always guarantee good construction. Examine it carefully before making your final decision. If your budget will not allow you to purchase every piece of a quality set, try to compromise by getting what you can now and planning to add the remaining pieces in the near future.
